Sunset Village

Sunset Village is located on a 74 acre site in a developing rural community. The building massing and varied use of finish materials reduce the overall scale of this project to give an appearance of groups of large homes. Fifteen resident neighborhoods were designed to serve the specific care needs of each resident group. This phase I project includes nursing home elements and two styles of assisted living.

Phase 2 of the project included a physical therapy addition that created a rehabilitation specific area at Sunset Village, designed to provide state of the art care. The exterior continues the existing campus aesthetic with a separate out patient entrance. A large exercise/aerobics area, private treatment rooms, therapy pool, and exterior therapy courtyard with gate training are provided with occupational therapy bedrooms, bathrooms, and kitchen spaces.
