Veale Wellness Center

The Veale Wellness Center is a 15,970 square foot aquatic and fitness center addition to the existing Breckenridge campus. The building construction consists of a concrete block and heavy timber structure to enclose the new indoor heated swimming pool, locker rooms, club lounge, spaces for therapeutic services, fitness area with exercise equipment, and a perimeter walking track. The building connects to the adjacent parking garage and multi-story residential building.

Vista Grande Villa health center and common area renovations and additions began with the following objectives established by the owner:

(A) Modernize and update health care and common areas to provide an improved residential character.

(B) Enhance the health center resident The Veale Wellness Center is a 15,970 square foot aquatic and fitness center addition to the existing Breckenridge campus. The building construction consists of a concrete block and heavy timber structure to enclose the new indoor heated swimming pool, locker rooms, club lounge, spaces for therapeutic services, fitness area with exercise equipment, and a perimeter walking track. The building connects to the adjacent parking garage and multi-story residential building choices and improve privacy.

(C) Allow for grouping of health center residents with various facilities, including confused residents.

(D) Improve the exterior appearance of the 1970’s flat roofed facility.

(E) Provide a new multi-use gathering space for C.C.R.C. residents.
